In two appearances and 13.0 innings over the weekend, Gardner produced a low .54 ERA against the Aggies. On Friday, she kept the NM State bats to only one run, walking two, and dealing six strikeouts at the plate for her fifth win of the season. The Bowling Green native picked up her third complete game shutout in a dominant 11-0 win over the Aggies on Sunday. Through five innings, she only allowed a mere three hits and one walk, while retiring five in the batter's box.
Gardner is leading the WKU pitching staff with a season 1.42 ERA and 49 strikeouts.
