ABOUT THE TOPS
- Kayla Meyer leads WKU in goals scored on the season with five through 11 games. The senior had two against Union and netted a goal each against Evansville and Arkansas State.
- Olivia Cooke, Rebecca Roth, Abby Wiedermann and Lily Rummo have each scored two goals this season. Seven total Hilltoppers have scored goals this season and seven have notched assists.
- Maddie Davis has played 10 games in goal for WKU this season. She has three shutouts on the year. Her 11 career clean sheets are tied for the fourth most in WKU history.
- The Hilltoppers returned 17 players from the 2023 season and welcomed two transfers and seven freshmen. Among the returners are 2023 starting goalkeeper Maddie Davis, second-leading scorer Kayla Meyer and defensive starters Aspen Seaich, Kendall Wade and Lily Rummo.
- WKU was picked to finish third in the preseason Conference USA coaches poll. Liberty was picked first and New Mexico State was selected second. The Hilltoppers finished third in Conference USA last season with a 4-2-2 record in conference play. The Hilltoppers were 6-5-7 overall. The seven ties were a school and CUSA record.
SERIES INFORMATION
- Sunday's match will be the third all-time between WKU and Jacksonville State.
- The Hilltoppers have a 1-0-1 record against the Gamecocks in the series.
- Last season the two teams met for the first time since 2006. The match ended in a 1-1 tie.

- Jacksonville State's win in Conference USA play came against Louisiana Tech. The Gamecocks defeated the Bulldogs, 4-0. Jax State's three league losses have come against Liberty, Sam Houston and Middle Tennessee.
- The Gamecocks are CUSA's highest producing offense, scoring 2.54 goals per game and 33 total goals this season.
- Naroa Domenech is Jax State's leading scorer with seven goals on the season. Tori Paul has six on the year and Nancy Almanza has five. In total, 10 different players have scored for the Gamecocks this season.
- Poppy Bastock has played 12 games in goal for Jax State. She has a 1.63 goals against average and three shutouts on the season.
