WKU Notes
- The Lady Toppers are four games into a six-game homestand that will include with matches against North Alabama (Friday) and Belmont (Sunday) this week.
- Erwin had an impressive opening week with two goals and an assist. She is WKU's top points earner with five total on the season. Anna Isger and Kayla Meyer are second on the team with three points each. They each have a goal and an assist.
- Eight different Lady Toppers have scored a goal through four matches. In addition to Erwin, Isger and Meyer, Ambere Barnett, Alaina Nugier, Lily Rummo, Amanda Simpson, and Emily Speidel have each scored a goal.
- Maddie Davis has been WKU's starting goalkeeper through the first four matches. She is credited with the shutout against Union and has made 13 saves on the season.
- WKU has 17 returners back from the 2022 season to go along with 12 newcomers that include four transfers and eight true freshmen.
Series Notes
- Friday's match will be only the second between WKU and North Alabama all-time. The Lions won the first matchup on Feb. 6, 2021 in Florence, Alabama.
North Alabama Notes
- The Lions are coming off their first win of the season with a 2-0 victory at Arkansas Pine Bluff on Sunday, Aug. 27. North Alabama's two losses have come against Belmont (1-0) and Chattanooga (1-0) and the tie came against Southern Indiana (1-1).
- North Alabama has had three different goal scorers this season. Goose Andrews, Olivia Heinert and Abby Thornton each have a goal for the Lions.
- Adriana Wright has started all four games in goal for North Alabama. She has a 0.75 goals against average on the season.
