Staying close to home, the Blue Raiders and Hilltoppers have met 67 times in both programs' history, as the Tops have come out over .500 in the all-time series at 47-21. The last three-game series between the two conference foes was in Bowling Green, as the Hilltoppers capped the sweep with a 7-0 victory in May to end the regular season in 2022.
Last weekend on The Hill, WKU held Power 5 opponent No. 19 Indiana to their lowest trio of runs in nine game with a 0-3 loss on Tuesday. Looking to bounce back, the Tops headed to San Antonio to face UTSA on the road for the first time in program history. After weather disrupted the originally scheduled three-game series, the Roadrunners and Hilltoppers split the two games, as UTSA took game one 7-2, and WKU took the second contest 9-2 that included three home runs off the Red and White bats.
With their last road midweek of the season on deck this past week, the Hilltoppers traveled to Nashville where they challenged teh ASUN Lipscomb Bison at Draper Diamond. With a three-wal, six-strikeout match for Katie Gardner and multi-hit games for both Faith Hegh and Randi Drinnon, the Tops succumbed to the home team, 4-5.
Friday and Sunday's game against MTSU will be on CUSAtv for fans to view at home, while the match up on Saturday will be available to stream on ESPN+.

- Being a regional rival prior to Conference USA, the Hilltoppers and Blue Raiders are 46-21 in the Red and White's favor. WKU has taken the last seven of 10 match ups, inlcuding a series sweep in 2022.
- Head coach Amy Tudor earned her career 500-win mark in the Tops 9-0 win over Evansville. She is 511 all-time, while 294 as WKU's head coach.Â
- On the stat sheet, Faith Hegh is leading the Tops with a .398 batting average, while also owning 45 hits. Taylor Sanders leads with 39 RBIs and nine home runs and while Taylor Davis has 39 hits and stolen 15 bases.
- Freshman Payton O'Connor is on a streak with her first career hit in the first game against UTSA last week, while collecting her first RBI as a Hilltopper this week at Lipscomb. Hegh is on a 19-game reached base streak.
- The Hilltoppers collectively hold 291Â hits, 170Â RBIs, a .300Â batting average with 18 home runs.
- In the Conference USA Preseason Coaches Poll, the Hilltoppers were predicted to finish second in C-USA, while fifth-year outfielder Taylor Davis was named to the Preseason All-Conference team.
