BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Hilltopper Golf's final tournament of the regular season will serve as a homecoming for redshirt sophomore Nic Hofman as the team travels to West Lafayette, Ind., to compete in the Boilermaker Invitational. The tournament originally scheduled for Saturday/Sunday action has been moved to Friday/Saturday action due to inclement weather expected in the area Saturday evening and all day Sunday.

The 15-team field hails from a mix of conferences, primarily across the Midwest portion of the country. The field has seven teams in the GolfStat Top 100 with four in the top 50 including No. 11 Oklahoma, No. 26 Ohio State, No. 38 Purdue, No. 42 Missouri, No. 72 Kent State, No. 73 Wisconsin and No. 75 Rutgers.
WKU's five-man lineup will be playing at the Ackerman-Allen Golf Course on Purdue's campus. Hofman will leadoff the team in his hometown. He was the Hilltoppers' top finisher most recently at the Craft Farms Intercollegiate at the end of March, tying for second overall in the field.
Senior captain Luke Fuller will fill in the second spot as he currently leads the team in stroke average at 72.8 shots per round through 20 rounds this season. In the third spot will be fifth-year senior Landon Carner then junior Connery Meyer. Sophomore Riley Grindstaff is set to round out the lineup card.
