On offense, Brylee Hage had a big night at the plate, rolling in three RBIs and two hits. Freshman Addy Edgmon went two-for-three on the night, while Taylor Sanders and Faith Hegh were one-for-two at the plate both with two RBIs.

In the second inning, the Hilltopper bats got moving after a single up the middle off the bat of Addy Edgmon, who is now batting .360.
Taylor Sanders, who now has a hit in every game all weekend, drove in the first RBIs of the evening with a double into left-center field, sending leadoff hitter Brylee Hage and Taylor Sanders home in the bottom of the third inning.
In the five-spot in the lineup, designated hitter Faith Hegh picked up the final run of the third, a single up the middle sending Sanders to home plate and collecting her sixth RBI on the year.
Senior center-fielder Brylee Hage pulled in two RBIs in the bottom of the fourth inning, bringing a 5-0 ballgame after her single up the middle, followed by a Colonial error sent Addy Edgmon and TJ Webster across the plate.
Rounding out the fourth inning, Randi Drinnon gets walked by George Washington with bases loaded. Faith Hegh closes out the scoring in the frame with a sac-fly into left field, sending Taylor Davis down the line after tagging up.
In the bottom of the fifth, Webster got walked and later found herself on third base after a stolen base and wild pitch. In walkoff fashion with the large lead, Brylee Hage singled up right to the pitcher sending speedy Webster to home plate with the 8-0 run-rule win.
Katie Gardner now owns a 3.46 ERA, totaling 28 strikeouts in the 2023 season.
