BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The 2023-24 WKU Hilltoppers concluded fall play defeating the Bellarmine Knights by a score of 17-7 on Saturday, October 21 at Nick Denes Field for their third victory of the fall.

With the win, the Tops finish the fall with a 3-0 record with the two other wins coming against Team Ontario and Southern Indiana last week.

13 different arms took the mound for the Tops this afternoon with newcomer Cory Bosecker earning the start. Jack Bennett, Jacob Bimbi, Grant Burleson, Lane Diuguid, Coby Moe, Cal Higgins, Mason Burns, Cole Heath, Zach Dueñas, Lucas Litteral, Dawson Hall, and Luke Leverton entered in order throughout the remainder of the 14-inning game.

At the plate, catcher Camden Ross notched his first home run of the fall while newcomer Cristian Garcia also went yard to add two runs in the bottom of the eighth to extend the lead going into the final few innings.

This game marks the final game of fall competition for the Tops as they will now have to wait until the beginning of the spring season to play against other opponents. The 2024 schedule has not been announced, but season will begin sometime in middle to late February.
