SARASOTA, Fl. – WKU Women's Golf finished up round two of the Pat Bradley Invitational Sunday afternoon. The Lady Tops had a very successful second round, moving up three spots on the leaderboard and tying for second place.
The Lady Tops now boast three golfers in the top 10.
Catie Craig is currently tied for fifth after round two. Craig finished the day with a 1-under 71 second round. Craig is currently fourth overall in the field in par 4's, continuing her great play in the Fall.
The ninth place spot is occupied by Sydney Hackett who had a stellar second round, climbing up the board 15 spots and grabbing momentum heading into the final round. Hackett had five birdies in her first nine holes, this got her as low as 4-under. Hackett finished with a 2-under 70 round two.
Right behind Hackett tying for 10th is fellow Lady Topper Sarah Arnold. Arnold had a very strong second round, climbing up the board 15 spots between rounds one and two. The Lady Topper senior got as low as three strokes under before finishing with a 1-under score on the day.
Addie Westbrook finds herself in the top 25. Tied for 21st on the leaderboard, Westbrook finished her day with two birdies on her final three holes, securing her a 1-over 73 score on the day and a spot just outside of the top 20.
Averi Cline made a significant leap on the leaderboard as well for the Lady Tops, climbing 16 spots herself. Her 2-over 74 score on the day is good enough to tie her for 36th heading into Mondays' round.
As an individual, Rachel Rich wrapped up her day for the Lady Tops tying for 41st. Rich now has an 8-over 152 total score heading into the final round.
As a whole, the team is having a tremendous showing, tying for first overall in pars and placing third in birdies among the field.
The Lady Tops wrap up the Pat Bradley Invitational Monday morning with an 8:50 A.M. tee off.
