WKU Baseball Welcomes Team Ontario for First Action of Fall

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Second year head coach Marc Rardin and the Hilltoppers will begin fall competition with an exhibition game against Team Ontario tomorrow, October 12 at Nick Denes Field.

The contest is scheduled for 12 innings beginning at 6 p.m. CT and will be open to the public.

This is the first of three exhibitions for the Tops as they will host Southern Indiana on Saturday, October 14, and Bellarmine the following Saturday, October 21 at Nick Denes Field. Both contests are scheduled for 14 innings beginning at 2 p.m. CT and will be open to the public.

WKU will host its annual WKU Baseball Alumni Barbecue during Saturday's game on the third base party deck. All WKU Baseball Alumni are welcome to attend, enjoy some barbecue, and watch the 2023-24 WKU Hilltoppers.

WKU Baseball is coming off one of its best seasons in recent history in head coach Marc Rardin's first season at the helm in 2023 after posting a 33-26 overall record, a 15-win improvement from the 2022 season. Rardin and the 2023-24 Hilltoppers look to take the success from year one and build on it heading into this upcoming season.
