BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Cross Country will head to Huntsville, AL., on Friday, Sept. 16 to compete in the North Alabama Showcase.
The meet will be hosted by University of North Alabama and held at the John Hunt Cross Country Park.
The men's squad will open the meet with a 8K beginning at 7:30 a.m. CT, followed by the women's 5K at 8:15 a.m. CT. Awards will follow after at 9:15 a.m. CT.
The course is 10-meters wide with 2 miles of accessible walking trails for coaches and spectators alike. Various training and events across high school, NCAA, and USA Track and Field have taken place at John Hunt Park.
45 other colligate teams will be in attendance competing. Live tracking and results will be available via Xpress Timing.
Following the showcase, the Hilltoppers will travel to Louisville Saturday, Oct. 1 for the Live in Lou Classic.
