HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- WKU Cross Country completed their races at the North Alabama Showcase, Friday morning at the John Hunt Cross Country Park.
With a slate of 37 teams, the men's program finished in 24th, while the women finished 30th out of 39 schools competing.
The women's squad was led by Lucy Rutherford and Audrey Boles. Both finished below the 20-minute mark along with teammate Adeline Frisch.

Of the six men who finished in Red and White Friday morning, freshman Dalton Lesher led the pack, clocking in at 26:00.48 on the 8k course.

Western Kentucky is back to run closer to home at the Live in the Lou Classic on October 1st, in Louisville hosted by the Cardinals.
