BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Baseball dropped game two of its series against (RV) Old Dominion, 11-4, on Friday night at Nick Denes Field.
The Monarchs held a slight 5-3 advantage through five frames before breaking out for four runs in the sixth to take a commanding 9-3 lead en route to the eventual 11-4 win.
"We gave them some free passes in the first two innings," said head coach
John Pawlowski. "We were able to get two double plays, but against good teams we can't continue to do that - we can't keep giving teams opportunities - especially guys that can hit the ball out of the park like they can."
