BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Track & Field is headed to its final regular season meet of the year in the Outdoor Music City Challenge hosted by Vanderbilt on Friday and Saturday.

WKU is one of 18 programs competing at the meet in Nashville that also includes C-USA opponents in Marshall and Middle Tennessee.
The Hilltoppers most recently competed at the Kentucky Invitational where WKU picked up 15 top-five finishes including event titles from Abigail Green in women's javelin and Katie Isenbarger in women's high jump. Isenbarger logged the second-best jump in school history while male distance runner Dedrick Troxell had the sixth-fastest outdoor 1500 time in program record.
Action will begin on Friday afternoon with women's javelin after the men's javelin that starts at approximately 1 p.m. CT. The men's pole vault will also occur on Friday afternoon beginning at 2:30 p.m. The track will heat up on a rolling schedule starting at 4 p.m. with the women's 200.
On Saturday, the Hilltoppers will start to compete at 10 a.m. with the men's hammer throw. Field events will run throughout the afternoon and events on the track will begin at 12:20 p.m. with the 4x100-meter relay.
A handful of female distance runners will also compete at Louisville's Clark Wood Invitational on Friday.
