BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Softball will host Lipscomb on Tuesday following a pair of canceled midweek games. The Hilltoppers enter the tilt with a 27-8 record on the season while Lipscomb sits at 16-25. The game will be available on HSSN's Facebook Live stream.
WKU claimed the last matchup against Lipscomb in 2020 in the Chatt Challenge by a margin of 7-1. The Hilltoppers and Bisons have each played SEMO and Dayton this season. WKU won both games against SEMO in the Hilltopper Classic, while Lipscomb split. The Hilltoppers took two more wins against Dayton in the Hilltopper Spring Fling, and Lipscomb split another pair of games against the Flyers.
The Hilltoppers have had five midweek games scheduled so far in the 2022 season, and all have been canceled except for Arkansas on Monday, March 21. Tuesday's matchup marks the second to last midweek game of the season for WKU, with Alabama scheduled to visit The Hill on April 27.
WKU's bye weekend from Conference USA action fell on Easter Weekend and its game prior to that - a midweek at Eastern Kentucky - was also canceled making the Tops' most recent game on April 10 at UAB.

TOP STORYLINES
- WKU Softball has played Lipscomb 32 times in program history, with WKU and Lipscomb tied at 16-16. WKU won the last game with a 7-1 result down in the Chatt Challenge back in 2020.
- After last weekend's results, WKU head coach Amy Tudor is now 478-371-2 in her career. Since coming to The Hill ahead of the 2014 campaign, Tudor boasts an overall record of 261-166-1.
- The Hilltoppers have had five midweek games scheduled this season thus far, and this will be the second midweek game played of the season.
- WKU has seen three athletes earn Conference USA Player of the Week honors in five weeks of the award being distributed this season. Bailey Curry, Taylor Sanders and Brylee Hage have all been honored with the accolade this season. Shelby Nunn became the Hilltoppers' fourth athlete recognized this year, earning C-USA's Pitcher of the Week.
- Shelby Nunn was named WKU's second-ever Preseason Pitcher of the Year, which is the first in the Conference USA era. Adrienne Lathrop was the Sun Belt Conference Preseason Pitcher of the Year ahead of the 2008 campaign.
