About the Lady Toppers
- The Lady Toppers are fourth in the Conference USA East Division standings with an 11-6 record in conference play and have locked up the four seed in the Conference USA Championship next week.
- Jaylin Foster was named C-USA Freshman of the Week on Monday for her play against Middle Tennessee last week. She is the third Lady Topper freshmen to earn the honor this season and the fourth WKU player to earn a weekly award. A WKU freshman has won the award six total times this season out of 16 total weeks.
- WKU has 295 steals on the season, the 22nd most in the nation, and their 10.5 steals per game is also 24th in the NCAA and leads C-USA. WKU is also forcing 19.57 turnovers per game which is the 28th best rate in the country.
- On the offensive side, WKU shares the ball at a high rate, notching 399 assists on the season which leads C-USA. The Lady Toppers are the conference's highest scoring team, putting up 71.5 points per game.
- WKU is efficient on offense, with the second leading 3-point field goal percentage in the conference (32.2%). The Lady Toppers have made 217 3-pointers this season, which is the second most in program history with one regular season game left and at least one game in the C-USA tournament.
- Meral Abdelgawad was named a semifinalist for the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year presented by Her Hoops Stats last week. She is C-USA's second leading scorer, averaging 19.9 points per game, good for the 21st highest rate in the nation. Her 557 total points scored on the season leads the league and is 15th nationally. It's also the eighth most scored by a WKU senior all-time. Her 64 steals are second in the conference and is 46th among all NCAA players. She's shooting 54.5 percent from the field on the season, which is second overall in the conference and the top percentage for a C-USA guard.
- The Lady Toppers are a freshmen-heavy team with five true freshmen. The rookies are contributing 52.3 percent of the scoring offense and providing 45.6 percent of the team's rebounds.
Series History vs. Marshall
- WKU and Marshall have played 18 times in series history and the Lady Toppers own a 15-3 record against the Thundering Herd all-time.

- Lorelei Roper is Marshall's top rebounder, pulling down 6.5 boards per game.
