WKU has won six of its last seven matchups against FIU. There are no common opponents between the Hilltoppers and Panthers so far this season. In C-USA action, WKU has taken on a pair of division opponents in Charlotte and FAU as well as UTEP from the west. FIU played two west division squads in Louisiana Tech and UAB. Most recently, FIU hosted No. 2 Florida State last weekend, dropping both games of a doubleheader.
The Hilltoppers traveled to Boca Raton last weekend for a three game set with FAU. The Owls won the series taking two out of three but the Hilltoppers took the Saturday contest winning 4-2 with their seventh come-from-behind win of the season. Both losses came by a one-run margin, moving WKU to 8-2 in one-run decisions.
The Hilltoppers are sitting at 6-3 in the Conference, while FIU has a record of 1-5. WKU is currently tied for first in the East Division with FAU, and the Panthers sit in sixth behind Middle Tennessee.
All three games will be streamed on Facebook Live through HSSN. Additionally live stats will be available the entire weekend
