Isenbarger is one of 16 females competing in the high jump event after qualifying with a height of 6-foot which she cleared at the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic in early February. Out of the 16-woman field, she is one of just six jumpers from outside the Power Five.
The Zionsville, Ind., native owns four of the program's top five indoor high jump marks in school history, resetting her own record twice this season.
The dual-sport student-athlete is the first NCAA Championship competitor under Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Brent Chumbley. Isenbarger is the first indoor female qualifier for the program since 2016 and one of eight since 2000. She is only the third female since 2000 to qualify for nationals in a field event and is the first to do it in high jump.
The women's high jump event begins in the Crossplex at 12:30 p.m. CT on Saturday afternoon. The event will be streamed live on ESPN3 and live results are available at the link above.
