This is WKU's fourth consecutive weekend with an indoor meet as the Hilltoppers are coming off of Louisville's Lenny Lyles Invitational. At the meet, Katie Isenbarger won the women's high jump on her way to setting a new school record in the event, breaking her own previous mark. Savannah Heckman also continued her tear on the indoor season as she finished fourth in the 3k and ninth in the mile.
Across the board, WKU took home nine top-10 finishes at the highly competitive meet and earned numerous PRs across different event groups.
WKU anticipates the Bellarmine Classic being an off weekend for some team members so fresh faces are expected to hit some events prior to ramping up into the end of indoor season.
Due to expected inclement weather, the meet will begin at 11 a.m. CT and be on a rolling schedule for the entire day. Field events will start with men's shot put and end with women's high jump On the track, action will start with the men's open 3,000-meter followed by the women's. Events on the track will run into the evening, ending with the women's 4x400-meter relay.
