BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball is scheduled for another home non-conference game on Tuesday night as it takes on the University of Indianapolis at 7 p.m. CT. The game will stream on ESPN+ and be televised locally on WKU PBS.
WKU opened its home slate with a 127-61 victory over Kentucky State on Saturday evening in E.A. Diddle Arena. The Greyhounds have already played two games and are 2-0 to start the season. Tuesday's contest will be an exhibition game for U-Indy.
This is the first time WKU or head coach Rick Stansbury have played the University of Indianapolis in a regular season game.

TOP STORYLINES
- As of Monday morning, WKU is ranked first in the nation in three-point percentage (63%), fourth in defensive rebounds per game (37.5) and fourth in three-pointers per game (14.5). Luke Frampton ranks fourth in the nation in three-point percentage (84.6%) and is the only one in the top five to have attempted 12 or more.
- In WKU's 127-61 route of Kentucky State on Saturday, the team broke numerous 3-point shooting records for both the program and in NCAA DI history. Emmanuel Akot became just the second player in college basketball since at least 2010-11 to notch his stat line or better in 23 minutes or less.
- Three Hilltoppers were named to the Conference USA Preseason All-Conference team: Dayvion McKnight, Emmanuel Akot & Jamarion Sharp. The team was picked second in the league overall behind UAB.
- In the last week of October, senior center Jamarion Sharp was named to the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award Watch List. The award is given annual to the nation's top men's basketball center.
- Jamarion Sharp is the tallest player in college basketball for the second season in a row at 7 feet, 5 inches. He's also the tallest player in the history of the Hilltopper program. The average height of the Hilltopper roster is 6 feet, 5 and a half inches tall. WKU has seven players who are 6-foot-7 or taller and is the country's tallest team, according to Ken Pom.
- Junior Dayvion McKnight was the only player in the entire country to average at least 16.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.9 steals per game in the 2021-22 season.
