In total, there will be four camps this summer, including the Lil Topper Camp, TOPS Prospect Showcase, Hilltopper Advanced Pitching Clinic and TOPS Elite Clinic. Each outing is designed for all players wanting to further their knowledge in the game of softball. To register or find out more information, visit WKUSoftballCamps.com. All camps will take place at the WKU Softball Complex (1800 Creason Street, Bowling Green KY).
On June 15, the Tops Prospect Showcase will get started at 9 a.m. before breaking for lunch at noon and wrapping up at 3 p.m. Softball players ranging from seventh grade through junior college are encouraged to sign up with the outing limited to 50 individuals.
That evening, the Lil' Topper Camp will take place from 5-8 p.m. CT on June 15. Maximum enrollment is again set at 50 participants from grades K-6.
June 16 will bring two more camps with the TOPS Elite Clinic happening from 9 a.m. – noon CT. Maximum enrollment is set at 40 participants from grades seven through junior college
The final camp open at this time is the Hilltopper Advanced Pitching Clinic on the afternoon of June 16. The opportunity is again for participants in seventh grade through junior college and is limited to 40 campers.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
- Lil Topper Camp: Bring all protective gear and all softball equipment
- TOPS Prospect Showcase: Bring Glove, shoes, turfs, helmet, facemask, bat, catching gear, batting gloves.
- TOPS Elite Clinic: Bring bat, batting gloves, cleats, turfs and any protective gear.
- Hilltopper Advanced Pitching Clinic: Bring a mask, glove, spinner, cleats, turfs, any protective gear
