THE SCHEDULE
- The Hilltoppers will open their series on Friday, March 26 with a 5 p.m. CT matchup against Charlotte.
- WKU will then play a doubleheader against the 49ers beginning at noon on Saturday, March 27.
- The Hilltoppers will close out their series with Charlotte on Sunday, March 28 at 1 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
- WKU dropped its midweek matchup to No. 7 Louisville, 13-6, Tuesday night at Jim Patterson Stadium.
- WKU utilized 10 different pitchers on the mound, with the group combining to allow 12 earned runs while striking out six batters in 8.0 innings of work.
- At the plate, the Hilltoppers tallied eight walks and three hits. Hunter Evans and Jack Wilson both went 1-for-3 on the day, with the duo each recording a home run in the contest, while Ty Crittenberger hit 1-for-4 while adding a run.
NO DOUBLE TROUBLE
- WKU currently ranks third in the nation and first in Conference USA with 49 doubles on the season, with the squad averaging 2.45 doubles per game.
