BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball will wrap up its five-game homestand, trying for its fifth-straight win, in a matchup against the Buffalo Bulls on Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT at E.A. Diddle Arena. The game will stream on ESPN+.

WKU won its fourth in a row at home Saturday with a close 85-80 win over Eastern Kentucky while missing two high-impact starters in Jairus Hamilton and Josh Anderson. Buffalo most recently lost 68-65 at St. Bonaventure on Saturday.

Neither WKU or head coach Rick Stansbury have ever faced off against Buffalo.

• During WKU's four-game winning streak, the Hilltoppers have earned their four victories by an average of 29 points while shooting a combined 54.1% from the field and averaging 20.5 assists per win. The first three victories of the streak was the first time WKU has recorded three straight wins by at least 15 points since the 2017-18 season.

• As of Monday, WKU ranks ninth in the country in blocks per game (6.5), 11th in total blocks (52), 20th steals per game (10.0) and 21st in turnovers forced per game (18.0).

• WKU junior center Jamarion Sharp is the tallest player in college basketball at 7 feet, 5 inches. He's also the tallest player in the history of the Hilltopper program. Sharp ranks first in the country in blocks percentage (20.5%), total blocks (37) and blocks per game (4.6).Â

• Since entering the starting lineup four games ago, Jamarion Sharp is averaging 9.3 points, 10 rebounds and 6.8 blocks per game while shooting 17 of 19 (89.5%) from the field.

• After making 1 of 19 3-pointers (11%) in the first three games, redshirt senior guard Luke Frampton has made 17 of 35 3-pointers (48.6%) in the last five games. He's shooting 54% from 3 during the win streak.

• Sophomore guard Dayvion McKnight is one of two players in the country averaging at least 14 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals per game, along with Santa Clara's Josip Vrankic.
