BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball will vie for its fourth straight win when it plays in-state foe Eastern Kentucky at 6 p.m. CT Saturday at E.A. Diddle Arena. The game will stream on ESPN+ and air locally in Bowling Green on WKU PBS.

WKU won its third in a row at home Tuesday with a 105-35 victory over Rhodes College. Eastern Kentucky most recently lost 88-75 at Radford on Sunday.

This will be the 159th all-time meeting in the series that dates back to 1914-15. WKU has won two straight and 15 of the last 16 with a 114-44 overall record. Rick Stansbury is 4-1 in his career against the Colonels.

• During WKU's three-game winning streak, the Hilltoppers have earned their three victories by an average of 37 points while shooting a combined 54.8% from the field and averaging 23 assists per win. It's the first time WKU has recorded three straight wins by at least 15 points since the 2017-18 season.

• In WKU's 105-35 win over Rhodes College on Tuesday, the Tops recorded the largest margin of victory against a college team in the program's 103-year history, beating the previous high of 66 in the 1966-67 season. WKU also allowed its fewest points since holding Asbury to 29 on Jan. 3, 2001.

• As of Thursday, WKU ranks seventh in the country in blocks per game (6.7) and steals per game (11.0), 10th in total blocks (47) and 18th in turnovers forced per game (18.7).

• WKU junior center Jamarion Sharp is the tallest player in college basketball at 7 feet, 5 inches. He's also the tallest player in the history of the Hilltopper program. Sharp ranks first in the country in blocks percentage (20.7%), total blocks (33) and blocks per game (4.7).Â

• After making 1 of 19 3-pointers (11%) in the first three games, redshirt senior guard Luke Frampton has made 14 of 28 3-pointers (50%) in the last four games. He's shooting 57% from 3 during the win streak.

• Sophomore guard Dayvion McKnight is one of two players in the country averaging at least 13 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals per game, along with Santa Clara's Josip Vrankic.

Strong bench play and team-oriented offense helped WKU Hilltopper Basketball overcome Eastern Kentucky's persistent pressure Friday for a 79-71 road win.
Â
The Hilltoppers committed 23 turnovers, but they also handed out 19 assists and got 28 points off the bench. WKU also had to overcome 41 points from EKU guard Jomaru Brown.

Sophomore center Charles Bassey led WKU with 18 points and 12 rebounds, while redshirt junior forward Carson Williams added 15 points and five assists.
