- The Lady Toppers will be looking to bounce back after a two-game skid in the last two weeks.
- WKU is 5-0 on the road this season including wins at Louisville, Belmont, Marshall, UAB and FIU.
- The Lady Toppers secured their 15th 10-win season all-time with an overtime victory at FIU in October.
- The Lady Toppers have scored 20 goals this season, scored by 10 different goal scorers. Avery Jacobsen and Katie Erwin lead the way with four each and Brina Micheels is right behind them with three. Mackenzie Crittenberger and Briana Sayoc have added two goals this season and Lily Rummo, Sophia Fondren, Annah Hopkins, Lyric Schmidt and Brooke Sleeva have all scored one.
- Erwin leads the team in points (12) scored with her four goals and four assists on the season. Jacobsen is second with 11 points on four goals and three assists.
- Jacobsen has three game-winning goals this season which is the second most in the conference and she is one of only five defenders in NCAA Soccer with three-or-more. Jacobsen is also adding her name to the WKU record book with 72 career starts which is the fourth most in Lady Topper history. She is three starts away from the second most and four from first.
- In goal, Alexis Bach has a 0.823 goals against average which is the fourth best in C-USA. Her 0.820 save percentage is the third best in the league and her five clean sheets are fourth.
- The Lady Toppers can finish anywhere between first and fourth in the C-USA East division standings.

- WKU and Charlotte have played eight times in the two programs' history. The 49ers have a 5-2-1 advantage in the series coming into Thursday.
- Last season the two teams played twice, once in Bowling Green and a second time in the C-USA tournament in Houston. The Lady Toppers earned a 1-0 victory at home on a goal from Erwin in the 89th minute to clinch a C-USA East Division title for WKU. The 49ers responded with a 2-0 win the conference tournament.
- WKU is 1-0-2 in Charlotte against the 49ers all-time. The lone win came in 2015 in a 3-1 victory.
- The 49ers are coming off a 2-0 shutout win at Marshall last week to improve to 3-2-2 in conference play. Haley Shand and Michaella Arteta scored the pair of goals for Charlotte.
- Charlotte also has wins against FIU and Louisiana Tech in the league.
- The 49ers are scoring 1.36 goals per game this season while allowing 1.21 goals scored by their opponents.
- Piper Biziorek leads the team in goals this season with five on the season. Macey Bader and Arteta are second with four each. Bader also leads the team in assists with three.
- Abby Stapleton has started in-goal in 12 matches for Charlotte this season and has a 1.41 goals against average and three clean sheets.
- WKU will head to Boca Raton, Florida next week for the C-USA Championship. The tournament will be played Nov. 1-7. The full bracket will be announced Thursday night after the conclusion of all games.
