BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Baseball is set to hold a five-game intersquad Fall World Series beginning Friday, Oct. 22 at Nick Denes Field.
The Fall World Series schedule is as follows:
Friday, Oct. 22 – 4 p.m. CT
Saturday, Oct. 23 – 1 p.m. CT
Sunday, Oct. 24 – 12 p.m. CT
Wednesday, Oct. 27 – 4 p.m. CT
Thursday, Oct. 28 – 3 p.m. CT
The games will be free admission and open to all fans.
After already competing against Austin Peay and Evansville earlier this fall, the Hilltoppers will now split up their roster into two teams for some added competition as the fall season comes to a close. Rosters for Team Red and Team Black are below.
Team Red: Trevor Adams, Ty Batusich, Andrew Brockwell, Wade Chandler, Nick Constantine, Ty Crittenberger, Hunter Crosby, Andrew Delaney, A.J. Fiechter, Aidan Gilroy, Jackson Gray, Cole Heath, Cooper Hellman, Jake Kates, Dalton Mesaris, Aristotle Peter, Trent Rice, Eric Riffe, Logan Sabo, Aaron Shiflet and Eli Watson
Team Black: Sean Bergeron, Brett Blomquist, Logan Bowen, Justin Carlin, Lane Diuguid, Billy Duby, Hunter Evans, Tristin Garcia, Ricardo Leonett, Brodie Mackay, Brian McAuliffe, Matthew Meyer, Wil Moritz, Trevor Mott, Tyler Neely, Dalton Rudd, Luke Sinnard, Luke Stofel, Devyn Terbrak and Mason Vinyard
Team captains, as voted on by the players, will be Gray and Kates for Team Red and Bergeron and Evans for Team Black.
Friday's starters on the mound will be Kates and Bergeron, with Hellman and Terbrak taking the bump on Saturday while Heath and Sinnard will open things up on Sunday. Starters for the final two games of the series are currently TBD.
Each game will consist of at least seven innings, with the potential to play more innings based on pitcher availability.
