- The Lady Toppers bounced back from a 1-0 loss to Old Dominion with a 3-2 overtime win at FIU on Friday night. WKU took an early 2-0 lead, but conceded two second half goals. In overtime, Brooke Sleeva scored her first career goal to clinch the win for the Lady Toppers.
- WKU is 4-0 in overtime matches this season, claiming wins against Vanderbilt, Marshall, UAB and FIU in extra time.
- WKU is currently No. 27 in the RPI and No. 8 in the United Soccer Coaches South Region rankings.
- The Lady Toppers have scored 20 goals this season, coming from 10 different goal scorers. Avery Jacobsen and Katie Erwin lead the team with four each. Brina Micheels has three on the season and Mackenzie Crittenberger and Briana Sayoc have scored two. Lily Rummo, Sophia Fondren, Annah Hopkins, Lyric Schmidt and Brooke Sleeva have also scored for the Lady Toppers.
- Erwin is now the team's leading points earner with 12 on the season. Jacobsen is second with 11. Erwin also leads the way in assists with four.
- In goal, Alexis Bach has gotten the starting nod in 11 matches, recording clean sheets in five and posting a 0.70 GAA.
