LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla., - WKU Women's Golf fifth-year senior Olivia Reed led the charge for the Lady Toppers on Saturday as she shot 1-under 71 in the opening round of the 44th Annual Pat Bradley Invitational hosted by FIU.
The Carleton, Mich., native closed out her round with a birdie to finish at the below-par total. Reed is tied for 13th, one shot back from the top 10 and only two out from the top three.
Sophomore Rachel Rich put together an even-par round of 72 at the 6,285-yard Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club. She is tied for 19th through the opening 18 holes.
Finishing third for the Lady Toppers on Saturday was senior Kenlie Barrett. She is tied for 64th overall after shooting 6-over 78.
WKU closed out scoring with a 10-over 82 from junior Sarah Arnold. Freshman Faith Martin shot 11-over 83. The duo is t-76th and 78th, respectively.
As a team, the Lady Toppers are in 13th and will tee off for the second round on Sunday morning beginning at 8 a.m. CT.
