In order to try out for the team, individuals must be a full-time WKU student and complete a series of forms that must be turned in no later than Monday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. CT.
Completed forms can be emailed to Coach McElreath at samuel.mcelreath316@topper.wku.edu or turned into the Paul C. Orberson Baseball Clubhouse lobby (located in the building directly behind the third base dugout at The Nick) in the form of a hard copy.
In addition to the submission of the required forms, all students looking to tryout must complete a COVID-19 PCR Swab test within five days prior to the date of walk-on tryouts and provide documentation of a negative result. This test is available through the Graves Gilbert Clinic on WKU's campus. These results can be submitted to the baseball clubhouse up to the day before tryouts.
If you have previously tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, please provide documentation of that positive test result along with a letter of completion for your isolation period from the public health department.
