MIAMI, Fla. — WKU finishes the regular season on the road at FIU at 6 p.m. CT Saturday in Miami, Fla. The game will stream online on CBS Sports Network on Facebook Watch.

The Hilltoppers were eliminated from C-USA regular-season title contention Sunday with an overtime loss at champion North Texas. WKU will be either the No. 2 or 3 seed in next week's conference tournament.

FIU lost a narrow road game at Louisiana Tech on Wednesday, 76-73. WKU is 34-9 all-time against the Panthers, including an 81-76 loss in Miami on Feb. 1. Head coach Rick Stansbury is 2-2 in his career against FIU.

• The Hilltoppers are looking to secure the 46th 20-win season in program history on Saturday. Only Kentucky, North Carolina, Duke, UCLA, Kansas and Louisville have more 20-win seasons.

• Junior guard Taveion Hollingsworth was named USBWA National Player of the Week on Tuesday after averaging 32.5 points per game in a split against North Texas and Louisiana Tech.

• WKU has overcome a double-digit deficit in five C-USA wins this season, and has trailed in the second half of eight of its 12 league victories, including a 17-point rally last week against Louisiana Tech.

• WKU has made 139 more free throws (509) than its opponents have even attempted (370) through 29 games.

• In the last five games, junior guard Taveion Hollingsworth is averaging 24.4 points per game while shooting 10 free throws per contest. Hollingsworth ranks 18th in WKU history in all-time scoring, as well as tied for eighth in career games started and career minutes, and 10th in career free throws made.

• Over the last nine games, redshirt senior guard/forward Jared Savage has averaged 12.9 points and 9.7 rebounds, while making 24 of 53 3-point attempts (45.3 percent).

• As of Thursday, WKU ranked sixth nationally in free-throw percentage (78.5), 11th in free throws made (509), fifth in fouls per game (13.6), 46th in scoring offense (76.1 ppg) and 52nd in free-throw attempts (648).

WKU made a furious comeback in the final minutes at FIU, but the rally fell just short in an 81-76 loss at Ocean Bank Convocation Center.

The Hilltoppers trailed by 13 with 8:31 to play, but stormed back to get as close as two in the final minute. WKU appeared to draw a 10-second backcourt violation with 10.2 seconds coming off the clock, but FIU was given a timeout, and Antonio Daye Jr. scored a tough basket in the lane to secure the win for the Panthers.

Redshirt senior guard/forward Jared Savage led WKU with 20 points and eight rebounds. Carson Williams and Taveion Hollingsworth each had 15 points.
