BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball hosts Louisiana Tech in its final home game of the season at 7 p.m. CT Thursday in E.A. Diddle Arena. The game will air on CBS Sports Network.

The game will be Senior Night, with five Hilltopper players and managers honored before the game around 6:35 p.m.

The Tops had their four-game win streak snapped Saturday with a loss to Charlotte, but remain just one game back of first-place North Texas in the league standings.
Â
Louisiana Tech opened Bonus Play with a 73-71 road win at North Texas. WKU is 18-16 all-time against the Bulldogs, including a 65-54 home win less than a month ago on Feb. 6. WKU head coach Rick Stansbury is 5-2 in his career against Louisiana Tech.

• WKU will honor three senior players during Thursday's pregame Senior Night festivities – Jared Savage, Camron Justice and Matt Horton – as well as senior student managers Evan Stack and Jacob Hayslip.

• WKU ranks second in Conference USA and 36th in the nation by holding opponents to 29.8 percent from 3-point range. That mark would be the lowest 3-point defensive percentage in program history.

• WKU has made 142 more free throws (467) than its opponents have even attempted (325) through 27 games.

• In the last 13 games, junior guard Taveion Hollingsworth is averaging 18 points per game while shooting 86.2 percent (75 of 87) from the free-throw line. Hollingsworth now ranks 18th in WKU history in all-time scoring, as well as ninth in career games started and 10th in career minutes.

• Over the last seven games, redshirt senior Jared Savage has averaged 14.4 points and 10.1 rebounds, while making 21 of 43 3-point attempts (48.8 percent).

• Junior guard Josh Anderson entered the starting lineup after Charles Bassey's injury. After reaching double figures in two of the first nine games of the year, Anderson has scored at least 10 points in 14 of the last 18.

• As of Tuesday, WKU ranked seventh nationally in free-throw percentage (78.6), 14th in free throws made (467), fourth in fouls per game (13.4), 65th in scoring offense (75.5 ppg) and 54th in free-throw attempts (594).

WKU came out with laser focus in front of a memorable crowd, rolling past Louisiana Tech 65-54 at E.A. Diddle Arena.

The Hilltoppers built a 20-point halftime lead and stymied the Bulldogs on defense all night in front of 5,769 fans decked out in black for a Diddle Blackout, complete with black jerseys for the home squad.

WKU shot 63.6 percent from the field in the first half and used a 17-6 run to open up a 36-20 advantage with 3:34 to play in the frame.

Freshman guard Jordan Rawls finished the game with a career-high 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting, including a 3-for-7 clip from 3-point range.
