BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball brings a four-game winning streak into its final non-conference game against Tennessee Tech at 6 p.m. CT Tuesday at E.A. Diddle Arena. The game will air on ESPNU.

The Hilltoppers' most recent win was a 73-71 road victory on Saturday at SEC foe Alabama. Tennessee Tech is 0-8 to start the year, including a 103-49 defeat at No. 10 Tennessee on Friday.

WKU is 82-20 all-time against the Golden Eagles and 43-6 at home, including a 76-64 win last year. Head coach Rick Stansbury is 1-0 in his career against Tennessee Tech.

• WKU coach Rick Stansbury is 11-2 in his career against Tennessee Tech coach John Pelphrey. They met 12 times while Stansbury was at Mississippi State and Pelphrey was at South Alabama and Arkansas.

• WKU's strength of schedule is ranked 47th in the country by Ken Pomeroy. The Tops have four top-100 wins so far this season over Northern Iowa (87), Memphis (57), Rhode Island (77) and Alabama (56). Their losses came vs. West Virginia (7) on a neutral court and at Louisville (33).
• The Hilltoppers are trying to close non-conference play with an undefeated record in Diddle Arena. WKU is 22-4 in home non-conference games (84.6%) under head coach Rick Stansbury.
• As of Sunday, WKU was one of only 60 programs in the nation to have played at least eight games so far this season. That represents just 16.8% of Division I teams.

• As of Sunday, Charles Bassey leads the nation in total blocks (29) and total rebounds (91). He also ranks second in double-doubles (5), third in blocks per game (3.6), sixth in total field goals (59), ninth in total rebounds per game (11.4) and 11th in defensive rebounds per game (8.1). Only 56 programs in the nation have more blocks as a team than Bassey by himself.

• WKU is tied for the national lead with 38 total dunks this season. Charles Bassey leads the nation with 25 dunks this year – nine more than the next closest players, Illinois' Kofi Cockburn and Memphis' Moussa Cisse.

WKU opened the 2019-20 campaign with a home victory, pushing past Tennessee Tech 76-64 at E.A. Diddle Arena.

Redshirt junior forward Carson Williams and sophomore center Charles Bassey each had 16 points, nine rebounds and two blocks to lead the Hilltoppers, who improved to 82-19 all-time in home openers.
Â
Camron Justice scored 15 points, while junior guard Taveion Hollingsworth added 11 points, three assists and three rebounds.
