BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball will play its second game against Marshall in four days at 6:30 p.m. CT Saturday in E.A. Diddle Arena. The game will stream exclusively on Facebook and be produced by Stadium.

WKU rallied from a 19-point deficit in the first half to beat Marshall 64-60 on Wednesday in Huntington, recording its fourth straight victory in league play.
Â
Marshall has lost three of its last four with Wednesday's home defeat. WKU is 17-12 all-time against the Herd, and head coach Rick Stansbury is 4-4 in his career against Marshall.

• This will be the first time WKU has faced the same opponent in back-to-back regular-season games since VCU in 2011-12. It's the first time the Tops have played a league foe consecutively in regular-season games since doing so with Middle Tennessee in 1970-71.

• WKU's 19-point comeback at Marshall on Wednesday was the program's second-largest deficit overcome since 2002, behind only a 25-point comeback against North Texas on Feb. 12, 2005.

• In the last five games, junior guard Taveion Hollingsworth is averaging 22 points per game while shooting 52.2 percent from the field and 87.2 (34 of 39) percent from the free-throw line. He's made 43 of 48 free throws overall in league play and was named C-USA Co-Player of the Week on Monday.

• Over the last six games, the Hilltoppers are allowing just 63 points per contest.

• Since the season-ending injury to Charles Bassey, redshirt junior forward Carson Williams is averaging 15.8 points and eight rebounds over the last nine outings. He's shooting 59.5 percent from the field overall.

• As of Thursday, WKU ranked 38th in the country in field-goal percentage (46.8), sixth in free-throw percentage (78.5), eighth in fouls per game (13.6), 64th in scoring offense (76.5 ppg) and 37th in total blocks (87).

WKU trailed by 19 in the first half and by 14 at halftime Wednesday, but locked down Marshall on defense for a 64-60 comeback road victory.

The Hilltoppers held the Thundering Herd to 21 points in the second half, the fewest WKU has allowed in a half this season, and caught fire from deep to notch its third true road win of the year.

Taveion Hollingsworth led WKU with 20 points and four steals, while Carson Williams added 15 points, six rebounds and four steals. Jared Savage finished with 14 points and made 4 of 6 3-pointers.
