BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball will look to deliver Charlotte its first Conference USA loss at 4 p.m. CT Saturday at E.A. Diddle Arena. The game will stream on ESPN3 and air on WKU PBS in Bowling Green.

The Hilltoppers rallied to defeat Old Dominion 71-69 at home on Thursday.
Â
Charlotte stayed unbeaten in league play Thursday with a 77-75 win at Marshall. The 49ers have won seven of their last eight overall. WKU is 20-10 all-time against Charlotte, including 13-1 at home. Hilltopper head coach Rick Stansbury is 6-2 in his career against the 49ers.

• WKU will host a reunion at the game for the 1975-76 Hilltopper Basketball squad, which will be recognized at halftime. The team, led in scoring by All-Century Team member Johnny Britt, went 20-9 and won both the Ohio Valley Conference regular-season and tournament titles.

• Over the last four games, WKU is allowing just 63.8 points per game. Over the last six games, the Tops averaged just 9.8 turnovers per contest. They've had less turnovers than their opponent in each of those games.

• Freshman guard Jordan Rawls has made his first three college starts with senior Camron Justice sidelined by a back injury. Rawls averaged 8.3 points, three assists and 37.7 minutes across the three games.

• In the last three games, junior guard Taveion Hollingsworth is averaging 20 points per game while shooting 50 percent from the field and 84.2 percent from the free-throw line.

• Since the season-ending injury to Charles Bassey, redshirt junior forward Carson Williams is averaging 16 points and 8.6 rebounds over the last seven contests. Williams needs just 11 points for 1,000 in his career.

• Junior guard Josh Anderson has entered the starting lineup with Bassey out. After reaching double figures in two of the first nine games of the year, Anderson has scored at least 10 points in eight straight contests.

• As of Friday, WKU ranked 39th in the country in field-goal percentage (46.9), 11th in free-throw percentage (77.7), ninth in fouls per game (13.9) and 55th in scoring offense (77.0 ppg).

• WKU has made 54 more free throws (282) than its opponents have even attempted (228) through 17 games.

WKU set a season high for made 3-pointers and took control early on the road, opening Conference USA play with a 68-50 win at Charlotte.
Â
The Hilltoppers netted 12 shots from long range, their most in a game since also hitting 12 against Southern Miss on Dec. 30, 2017.

All 10 Hilltoppers who played scored, led by redshirt junior Jared Savage's 13 points. But no starter played more than 29 minutes, and WKU got 23 points off its bench.

Sophomore guard Jake Ohmer led the charge from the reserves, netting a career-high four 3-pointers for 12 points in 26 minutes.Â
