BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - This weekend, the WKU Softball team will be hosting a pair of camps that still have spots available. On Saturday, the Elite All Skills Showcase is slated to begin at 9 a.m. and last until 3:30 p.m. at the WKU Softball Field. Sunday's event will be strictly for pitchers, lasting from 9 a.m. to noon.
The weekend Showcases are open to players in grades 7-12. Instructing the camps will be the WKU Softball coaching staff including head coach Amy Tudor as well as the players. Also helping out at the weekend sessions is the owner of Breakthrew Fastpitch, Myndie Berka.
Pitchers should bring their glove, cleats and tennis shoes (in case of inclement weather). Catchers are asked to bring all of their catching gear, glove, cleats and tennis shoes.
It is required that pitchers bring their own catcher. If the catcher is in high school, she will need to register and pay for the camp as well per NCAA recruitment rules.
