Baseball to Host High School Showcase Camp on Nov. 6

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Head coach John Pawlowski and the WKU Baseball program will host its Topper Top Prospect Camp on Sunday, Nov. 6 at the newly-renovated Nick Denes Field. This is a great opportunity to be seen and instructed by the WKU coaching staff while competing on one of the best collegiate facilities in the country.

The High School Showcase Camp is open to 9th-12th graders on a first-come, first-served basis. The camp begins at 10 a.m. and includes position-specific instruction, hitting instruction, pitching instruction and a pro-style workout. To cap the day, players will have the opportunity to take their talents to the diamond for a live scrimmage.

Each camper must bring their own baseball gear, including a glove, bat, helmet, hat, running shoes or turf shoes, cleats and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear and absolutely NO metal spikes are allowed.

A WKU certified athletic trainer will be on-site for the entire camp and all camper must compete and bring in the waiver form at the time of check-in.

9:15 a.m.-10:00 a.m. — Registration
10:00 a.m.-10:15 a.m. — Coach Pawlowski Introduction
10:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. — Stretch/Instruction/Showcase/BP
12:30 p.m.-4:00 p.m. — Live Scrimmage
