BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU Baseball will host its annual Topper Top 100 Prospect Showcase on Sunday, Nov. 1, at Nick Denes Field for high school players to demonstrate their talents to head coach John Pawlowski and the WKU coaching staff.
The Topper Top 100 Prospect Showcase will be an all-day event, with check-in starting at 9:30 a.m. and ending with a live scrimmage and camp review. The cost of the camp is $175.
The event will be focusing on recruiting, but will also give athletes an opportunity to go through a pro-style workout. Players will take batting practice on Nick Denes Field, go through various workouts in the state-of-the-art hitting facility, and take part in pregame and postgame pitching routines. There will also be a large amount of quality instruction with many of the drills and fundamentals WKU does on a daily basis.
The showcase is a great opportunity for fall athletes that couldn't attend WKU's Labor Day Showcase to display their baseball skills to the Hilltopper coaching staff. Players will be required to designate a primary position, but those who would like to also play a secondary position will be allowed to as time permits.
