BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- WKU softball head coach Amy Tudor announced the team's rigorous 2015 Fall schedule Monday morning. In total, the Lady Tops are set to play eight games, including three contests against teams from the Southeastern Conference.
WKU opens the slate with a pair of home doubleheaders follow as the Lady Tops are set to host Campbellsville University on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 11 a.m. CT and Volunteer State on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 4 p.m. CT.
WKU travels to in-state foe Kentucky on Saturday, Oct. 10, for a doubleheader with the Wildcats starting at 1 p.m. CT. The Lady Tops will then head to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Saturday, Oct. 17, for single game contests with Alabama and the University of Mobile. First pitch against the Crimson Tide is set for 11 a.m. with a 1 p.m. contest against Mobile to follow.
The 2015 Alumni Game will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the WKU Softball Complex. The time for the contest will be announced at a later date.
Walk-On Tryouts Set
Walk-on tryout dates have been set for the upcoming 2015-16 season. A walk-on meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 10, at 5:15 p.m. CT at the WKU locker room in E.A. Diddle Arena. Tryouts will begin on Saturday, Sept. 12, and continue throughout the next week at the WKU Softball Complex.
