BOWLING GREEN, Ky.—Fresh off a NCAA Regional appearance and a pair of Conference USA Championship titles, the WKU softball team will be hosting camps this June and August as part of the Amy Tudor Softball Camps.
There will be four camps this summer, including the Elite Clinic, Lil' Toppers Camp, Elite All-Skills Showcase and a Pitching/Catching Clinic, and are designed for all players wanting to further their knowledge in the game of softball. The Elite Clinic takes place June 16 and is for campers entering grades 8-12. The day begins at 9 a.m. CT with a break at 11:30 a.m. CT then continues from 1-4 p.m. CT. The cost is $250, and campers will need to bring glove, bat, helmet, cleats/tennis shoes and their own lunch.
The Lil' Toppers Camp is on June 17 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. CT for ages 6-12. The cost is $50 while campers are again asked to bring glove, bat, helmet and cleats/tennis shoes.
The Elite Showcase will be in two sessions on August 29, as both sessions are the same, giving the camper the choice of morning or afternoon. The morning session will run from 9 a.m. until noon CT while the other goes from 1-4 p.m. CT while the camp is for players in grades 9-12. The cost for a session is $150 and will take place at the WKU Softball Complex. Campers will need to bring their own glove, bat, helmet and cleats/tennis shoes.
WKU will host a pitching/catching clinic also on August 30, scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. CT and lasting until noon CT for campers entering grades 8-12. The cost to register is $100, and campers will need to bring glove and cleats/tennis shoes while catchers will also need their own gear.
