BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- After wrapping up fall ball, WKU baseball will host its 2015 Topper Holiday Youth Camps on the Sundays of Dec. 6 and Dec. 13 at Nick Denes Field for a unique learning experience for kids ages 5-12.
The first camp will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT and the second will start at 10 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. CT, with those attending the second date receiving a free game ticket to the WKU men's basketball game against Indiana State that day. The cost of each camp individually is 125 dollars, while campers signing up for both camps can attend for 225 dollars.
The camps will include fundamental baseball instruction, hitting drills and batting practice in the hitting facility, guidance and teaching on pitching mechanics and prizes for skills competitions throughout the day. Campers will also have full access to the WKU Baseball facilities and have the chance to interact with current Hilltopper players and coaches.
WKU employees can call or email to receive a discount code on the total registration fee.
