BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - WKU Baseball began fall practices on Sept. 12 and will continue its work leading up to the annual Fall World Series at Nick Denes Field from Oct. 16-18.
The Hilltoppers return 21 players from last season's 29-win squad that finished fifth in the Sun Belt Conference while knocking off eventual College World Series Champion Vanderbilt and No. 1 Louisiana-Lafayette on the road. In addition to the 21 returners, WKU also welcomes 14 newcomers from the high school and junior college ranks.
WKUSports.com will chat with head coach Matt Myers and players throughout the fall as the Hilltoppers work toward their inaugural Conference USA season, which begins against Maryland on Feb. 13, 2015 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
