Team Records, Game Notables and Series Information WKU concludes the season 24-9 after making its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2008. Baylor won the first-ever meeting between the teams. WKU is now 17-17 all-time in the NCAA Tournament, including three appearances in the Final Four. WKU made back-to-back postseason appearances for the first time since 2006-07 and 2007-08, the final two years of a nine-year streak. WKU finished the season 0-2 against top five opponents in the Associated Press rankings.
Team Notes Baylor never scored more than five consecutive points against WKU tonight. WKU took a 28-27 on a three-point field goal from Bianca McGee with 6:41 left in the first half after trailing by as many as eight points in the first half at 25-17. WKU trailed 70-65 following a three-point field goal in transition by Micah Jones before Baylor ended the game on a 17-9 run. Attendance was 6,207 at the Ferrell Center for the session. WKU used the starting lineup of Bianca McGee, Chastity Gooch, Jalynn McClain, Micah Jones and Kendall Noble. WKU has used 12 different starting lineups during the 2013-14 season, using a combination of 10 different players. WKU has used six different starting lineups in conference play using a combination of eight different players.
Individual Notes Junior forward and All-America candidate Chastity Gooch finished with 23 points and nine rebounds on 10-of-16 shooting. Gooch played 39 minutes. Gooch finishes the season ranked 18th on WKU's career scoring list at 1,322 points. · Redshirt freshman Kendall Noble had 21 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in 40 minutes. Noble played 40 minutes and added three steals. She converted on 7-of-14 shots in the contest. o Noble's eight rebounds tied her career high. o Noble's seven assists were one shy of her career best. · Sophomore guard Micah Jones tied her career high with six assists. · Senior guards Bianca McGee and Chaney Means played their final games in a WKU uniform. McGee finished her career with 646 points in two seasons, ranking her sixth in scoring in WKU history among two-year transfers. Means finished her career with 354 points.
