The Lady Toppers won their first SBC championship last year by taking the regular-season title with a 20-3 record while finishing in the top three of the league on four other occasions.
WKU is coming off of two losses against Louisville on Wednesday, as the Lady Toppers fell 3-0 and 7-4 in the midweek doubleheader. In game two, WKU put up 11 hits, led by senior Olivia Watkins' 3-for-4 effort at the plate to go with two hits each from junior Shawna Sadler and senior Amanda Thomas.
