RMU pounded 10 hits in the contest, including four going for extra bases. WKU totaled three hits with junior Preslie Cruce, senior Kelsie Mattox and sophomore Bethany Oglesby each tallying one.
Senior Emily Rousseau (3-4) pitched in her fourth game of the weekend, going 5.1 innings with nine hits and all five runs earned. Rousseau struck out four in the game. Freshman Hannah Miniard came in to finish the game, giving up one hit and a walk while striking out two. RMU's Nicole Sleith (3-2) went the whole game for the win, fanning six batters and allowing no walks.
