Player Notes
- Sophomore wide receiver Taywan Taylor caught a touchdown pass on the opening drive of the game for the second straight game. It was Taylor's third career touchdown reception.
- Senior wide receiver Willie McNeal upped his career reception total to 145 and stands in fourth place on WKU's career list.

- McNeal has at least one catch in 26-straight games and at least four catches in 11-straight games.
- McNeal caught his 17th career touchdown early in the first quarter.
- Senior quarterback Brandon Doughty finished 28-of-44 for 335 yards and three touchdowns.

- Doughty has thrown multiple touchdown passes in every game this season and in seven straight games overall.
- Doughty, who became the first quarterback in school history with three-straight 300-yard games in the game with UAB, extended that streak to four games today.
- Doughty reached the 100 yard passing mark before throwing his first incompletion for the second consecutive game. He completed his first six passes for 126 yards today after going 14-of-14 for 177 yards to open against UAB.
