PRESEASON FAVORITES FOR SBC TITLE FACE OFF IN BOWLING GREEN
- Chastity Gooch currently leads the Sun Belt Conference in scoring in league games at 24.7 points per contest, one of only two players averaging over 20.0 points per game. She also is the only player in league averaging double figures in rebounding at 10.3 per league contest. Gooch also ranks fifth in field goal percentage and second in blocks.
- WKU has scored 80 points in each of its last two games and has won its last two league games by double-digits.
- Bianca McGee needs two three-point field goals to reach 70 for her career and needs 21 points to reach 500 points for her two-year WKU career.
- Chastity Gooch needs 45 points to reach 1,000 points for her career, 16 rebounds to reach 700 rebounds for her career and one three-point field goal to reach 25 for her career.
- WKU has enjoyed great success at E.A. Diddle Arena this season, posting a 5-1 record at home with the loss coming against fourth-ranked Louisville. WKU is 1-0 in league games this season at home.
- Redshirt freshman Kendall Noble has given the Lady Toppers a new look on the offensive end in recent games. With the recent absence of junior Alexis Govan to injury, Noble has found her scoring grove that made her a prized prospect out of high school. Following a series of injuries to begin her WKU career, Noble has scored 12.5 points and grabbed 6.0 rebounds per contest during WKU's current two-game winning streak, hitting 9-of-16 shots from the field in 58 total minutes of play. She also made her first career three-point goal during the stretch against Troy, adding another in the ensuing contest against Georgia State.
