BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - After opening the season with five-straight home games the WKU soccer team will hit the road for the first time in 2013, traveling to play Western Carolina on Friday night at 6:00 p.m. (CT) and Tennessee at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The Lady Toppers (1-2-2) match versus Western Carolina (3-2-0) will be their first in Cullowhee, N.C. and second overall versus the Catamounts. WKU defeated Western Carolina 1-0 at the WKU Soccer Complex during the 2011 season.
Following Friday's bout with the Catamounts, WKU will head to Knoxville, Tenn. searching for its first win over the Lady Vols. Tennessee holds a 2-0 advantage in the all-time series and has outscored the Lady Toppers 7-1 in the two previous meetings. First touch is set for 1 p.m. Sunday.

After this weekend's matches WKU has just three more non-conference games remaining. The slate has proved difficult for the Lady Toppers, as their 10 non-league foes have combined to go 27-16-7 this season (.610).
