Junior (2024-25): Named CUSA Player of the Week on Nov. 25...Played in 28 games and started in 24 for the Lady Toppers…Tied the school record for steals in a game in the season opener at Indiana State with 10 (record was later broken by another teammate)…Led the team in scoring in three games and led in rebounding in three games…Went off for 21 points and eight rebounds at Mercer on Nov. 12…Scored 21 points against North Dakota on Nov. 24…Had 20 points against Kennesaw State on Feb. 6.
Sophomore (2023-24): Named Conference USA Player of the Week on Dec. 26…Missed 10 games (Feb. 4-March 8) due to injury…Led the team in scoring, averaging 14.0 points per game…Also led the team at the free throw line, shooting 84.6 percent on the season (77-91)…Her free throw shooting percentage was the fourth best in CUSA…Had five 20-point games…Put up a season high 29 points against No. 16 Kansas State…Poured in 23 points at Missouri State and had 22 against Ball State…Was 10-of-10 from the charity stripe against Nevada…Had a career high five assists against Ball State.
Freshman (2022-23): Named to the C-USA All-Freshmen Team...Named C-USA Freshman of the Week twice...The first WKU freshman to lead the team in scoring since Lady Topper legend Crystal Kelly in 2004-05...Her 371 points are the sixth most scored by a WKU freshman in program history...Shot 90.9 percent (10-11) from the field against UTSA which is tied for the eighth best percentage in a game in program history...Her 11.2 points per game led the team in scoring and her 49.0 shooting percentage was also tops on the team...She averaged 12.4 points per game in C-USA play and 13.3 points per game in postseason play...Scored in double digits in 20 games and led the team in scoring in seven games, which is tied for the most on the team...Had a career high 31 points against UTSA...Poured in 24 points at UAB.
High School: Played three seasons at Riverdale High School...Named to the All-District Tournament Team twice...Earned All-Region Tournament Team honors...Named to the All-State Second Team as a freshman...As a Junior, Hayes was a First Team All-Area Performer, District Most Valuable Player and a finalist for the Miss Basketball award.
