- WKU suffered a loss for the just the second time during the Michelle Clark-Heard era when scoring more than 70 points.
- WKU's 55 points in the second half were the most in a half during the Michelle Clark-Heard era, besting the 53 points in a half scored twice previously under Clark-Heard in a half.
- WKU shot 63.3 percent during the second half after shooting just 26.5 percent in the opening half.
- WKU used the lineup of Chastity Gooch, Alexis Govan, Jalynn McClain, Micah Jones and Bria Gaines for the first time this season. It is the third starting lineup used by WKU this year.
Individual Notes
- Junior Alexis Govan became the 34th member of WKU's 1,000 point club when she scored her 20th point of the game.

- Govan is believed to be the seventh quickest individual in program history to reach 1,000 points in a career. She joined the club in just 71 games in a WKU uniform.
- Govan finished 7-of-9 for the game, scoring 20 points.
- Govan had a career high eight points.
- Govan has scored in double figures in 44 consecutive games, the fourth longest WKU streak since the start of the 2000-01 season. It was the 47th career game scoring in double figures of Govan's career.
- Govan has started 49 consecutive games, the longest active streak on the team. She started the final nine games of the 2011-12 season and every game of the 2012-13 season. She has 58 career starts to her credit.
- Redshirt freshman Kendall Noble had seven points and six rebounds in a career high 20 points. She was 3-of-4 from the field.
- Sophomore guard Micah Jones had 15 points.
- Freshman center Bria Gaines made her first career start.
- Junior Chastity Gooch had 12 points and 13 rebounds as she recorded her 30th career double-double and fourth of the season.
