WKU wraps up its three-game Roundball Showcase homestand Saturday night at 7:00 (CT) against Samford.
The Hilltoppers have been locked in defensively to start the season, allowing an average of just 58.0 points per game, and a win on Saturday would make WKU 3-1 to start a season for the first time since 2010-11.
WKU has won all seven all-time meetings against the Bulldogs with the last coming on December 13, 1986, which was a 94-57 Hilltopper win when WKU was ranked eighth in the nation. After the game against Samford, WKU heads to Marshall to finish up the Roundball Showcase with a matchup featuring founding members of the Ohio Valley Conference from 1948 and future Conference USA foes beginning in 2014-15.
Season tickets for the 2013-14 season start as low as $99 for all 18 games at E.A. Diddle Arena, and single-game tickets are on sale as well. Fans interested in purchasing season or single-game tickets can call the WKU Ticket Office at 1-800-5-BIG RED or 745-5222 locally, or order online at WKUSports.com.

QUICK SHOTS

WKU has held eight-straight opponents under 70 points, which is the longest streak since the Hilltoppers held 10-straight under 70 from January 2-February 2, 2008.
Through two weeks of basketball in the 2013-14 season, WKU has allowed the 22nd-fewest points per game in the nation (58.0 ppg) and the fewest in the Sun Belt Conference.
WKU is 18-5 under Ray Harper at home.
WKU has outrebounded each of its three opponents this season.
T.J. Price has scored in double figures in 14 of his last 15 games.
T.J. Price has made at least one three-pointer in 17-straight games and multiple threes in 14 of the 17 contests.
WKU has started true freshman point guards in each of its three games this season.
Should T.J. Price and George Fant both reach the 1,000 career point threshold in 2013-14, it would mark the first time since 2009-10 that multiple players have reached the milestone in the same season (Jeremy Evans, Steffphon Pettigrew, A.J. Slaughter; 2009-10).
WKU's 17 regular-season home games in 2013-14 are the most in program history.
