BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Former Hilltopper Anthony Winchester, the school's eighth all-time leading scorer, has signed a contract to play the 2012-13 season for CB Breogan in Spain.
Winchester becomes the fifth former WKU star to sign a professional contract for 2012-13, joining Courtney Lee (Boston Celtics, NBA), Jeremy Evans (Utah Jazz, NBA), Steffphon Pettigrew (Abejas de Guanajuanto, Mexico) and A.J. Slaughter (Cholet Basket, France).
Winchester scored 1,732 points in his four-year WKU career (2003-06), and he ranks as the school's all-time leader in made three-point field goals (247). He also sits fourth in career three-point field goal percentage (.416).
